Mr.
Donn's Ancient History Page Units, lesson plans, activities, and resources. Some of the interpretations
with respect to the origins of current holidays, for example, are
inaccurate. (For example, the statement that corn --- more, specifically,
maize --- was unknown at the time of the Pilgrims. This is a myth.
Europe had been planting and growing maize 500 years before the Pilgrims
came to the, now, USA.). Also the use of the terms B.C.E. and C.E.
versus A.D. & B.C. is a tell tale clue with respect to Mr. Donn's
worldview presuppositions. However, the site is great for organizing
content when studying ancient civilizations and the historical errors
are easily corrected. Also leads to "Mrs. Donn's" section.
