Preamble to the Constitution of West Virginia:

West Virginia Home Educators Association WVHEA is open to everyone, regardless of religion, personal beliefs, or educational philosophy.
Local Support Groups:
Charles Town Christian Home Educators
Covenant Homeschool Group Christian group with the majority of members from the Covenant Church in Shepherstown and/or from Jefferson County.
Monongalia Area Homeschoolers An organization of homeschooling families in Monongalia County, West Virginia, and surrounding areas. Open to any homeschoolers or those interested in homeschooling in our area.
Mountain Homeschool Group Christian based group, formed to meet the needs of families of homeschoolers in the Jefferson County area.
Ritchie County Home Educator A Christian support group designed for parents or grandparents who homeschool their own children or grandchildren.
St. Elizabeth Home Educators An active group of Catholic home schooling families in the Eastern Panhandle.
Wood County Christian Homeschoolers A group of home schooling families that have joined together to support and encourage one another in our God given ministry of teaching our children at home. This group is open to anyone who is presently home schooling or is interested in learning more about it.

Appalachian Regional Cooperative An inclusive group of homeschoolers in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The group is open to all homeschooling philosophies, including self-directed and unschooling. Yahoo discussion group.
Southern West Virginia Homeschoolers An inclusive support group for homeschooling families in the southern counties of West Virgina, particularly Fayette, Nicholas and Raleigh. Members are accepted regardless of their personal beliefs. Yahoo discussion group.
