Food Preservation Tips

Freezing Celery

Mince the leaves.
Place minced leaves in ice cube trays.
Put a little bit of water in each "cube".
Freeze.
When frozen, transfer to a freezer bag.
These are great to drop into soups, stews and broth.

Freezing Zucchini

Shred the squash, measure two cups, and put in freezer bags to make zucchini bread later. -- Brenda in OH
