Below are some suggestions for more healthful than average snacks! Healthful Snack Suggestions

Fun Ideas:
Ants on a Log: Celery with peanut butter* and raisins on top
Spiders: Ritz crackers spread with peanut butter and studded with stick pretzels.
Lettuce boats: Full leaf of Romaine lettuce with canned pears or peaches on top. Make sure the kids eat the lettuce.

Easy Ideas:
Any raw veggies -- Slice into creative shapes.
Homemade granola with dates, oatmeal, sunflower seeds
Sunflower seeds (plain)
Crackers and hummus
Plain rice cakes
Homemade bread or bagels
100%-fruit fruit leathers
Dried fruit
Frozen orange juice or other juice (like a popsicle)
Hard-boiled egg
Plain peanuts (Dry-roasted are best.)
Applesauce with cinnamon (unsweetened)
Yogurt
Juiced vegetables
Crackers with a tiny bit of cheese
Cottage cheese with grape/cherry tomatoes
String cheese or sliced cheese with an apple
Hard fruit with melted peanut butter as a dip
Fruit smoothies
Fruit salad
