I have a couple of minutes.  I'll try to re-cap.  It's in the section about how the land was divided.

The jist of it was obedience and God's perfect will vs disobedience and God's permissive will.  So many times they went in to conquer the land and either took more than God told them to (keeping spoils), or  didn't completely conquer when God told them to - leaving enemies alive in the land.

There was something bro't out about Joseph's son(s)... not being content with their lot saying it wasn't big enuf when larger tribes were happy with even less.  Yet, they didn't want to do the work needed to clear and conquer a bigger portion.

How often do we do those very things in our own lives?  God challenges us to "take the land", our inheritance, yet we either don't want to do the work involved or we settle for keeping enemies alive in our lives.

It was good.  Wish I'd taken notes!
