i so know what you mean. plus i don't think i've slowed down since it started. lol. this week is VBS next week camping/vacation. then i have a week or two to pack for church camp in july. one wednesday before that i'm helping the pastor with a kids lesson at the pool that the area ministers take turns doing every wednesday during the summer. and that's the high points....idk what else is in there.....besides work.

sounds fun, and busy! So far I haven't been all that busy, I've been home mostly trying to get everything done that I didn't get done during the school year since I was so busy then... so yeah other than that mostly just church, shopping, hanging out with friends a little... hoping and praying my mom will let my sister and me go to our church's youth camp! at this point it really looks like she's going to say no, but I'm still praying lol. I'm trying to figure out how to convince her it would be fine.

i hope you can talk her into letting you go. not sure what you're camp is like but ours is awesome. it'd be a blast to go.

we discussed camp with my mom yesterday, things are looking better in that she's seriously considering it. but it still has to be discussed with our dad too, don't know what their final decision will be. never been to our camp so i don't know what it would be like but everyone seems to love it. it's only three nights but it should be fun, i think they have prayer and worship at night and random activities during the day like paintball and swimming and outdoor games and stuff, idk what really. what do you guys do at your camp?

awesome.
a typical day at our camp is:
breakfast
chapel
lunch
bible study/group study
free time
supper
chapel

breakfast is 8am i think and the last chapel ends at 10-10:30pm then in cabins by 11 and lights out by midnight. i think. can't remember the times for sure. but most of that is right after each other....you have time to get from one place to another. but free time is a couple hours or so. so you deff have time to hang out and do more than just eat and chapel. it's so much fun though.

chapel at our camp lasts a little longer because we have a band come in for the week and they do songs before the sermon. one year we had mile 5 one year it was a random band and one year we had chris davis. they're usually really good.

but that's just how they do it at our camp. every camp is different though.

that's cool about the bands coming! sounds fun. i think ours just has its own worship band play, well actually some of the youth have their own band that plays sometimes at youth service so they'll probably play at camp too. but no famous bands lol. but yeah... anyway. our youth is having a rummage sale / car wash to raise money for camp, we're gonna go help sort stuff for the rummage sale tonight. so is your camp just youth or all ages?

awesome, sounds like fun. yesterday me my youngest bro and dad flattened the siding we'd taken off the pillars on our front porch the night before then went to see toy story with my honey then went to his house and talked to his mom and dad about college stuff while he got the front window on his truck replaced. then i helped them put hay up in the loft. then went to a near by town and watched the fireworks before we came home.

today went to a near by flea market and cleaned the house a little while the guys are working on the porch. now i'm getting ready to go to work tonight where i prolly won't get home until about 11:030-12pm and it's only about 5 mins from here.

tomorrow is church all morning then idk what until i go to work again at 5:30.

yeah he does. they have several cows, at my guess half dozen ducks, 6-8 geese, 3guinies i think (not sure how it's spelled though), if i remember right there's over a dozen chickens...some of them show chickens, and last count i heard was either 32 or 23 milk goats including the boys but that was before kidding season so i'll have to ask him again how many they have now. and i've helped milk goats. the chickens are his brothers chore and his dad takes care of the cows usually, i've been in the field helping with a sick calf before though. and the other birds kinda fend for themselves....they also have three dogs not including two that they are trying to get rid of to good homes.

.....i think that's all the animals they have. his mom and sister-in-law also have a garden though.

it is. we aren't really that close....about a 40-45 minute drive. i dated a guy that lived about 1 1/2 hours away once but he was in the marine corps stationed about 3-4 states away at the time. it didn't work out between us for differant reasons though.

the boyfriend i have now lives only 45 mins away and he lives in the middle of nowhere.... i live in town...well, it's actually a "village" but yeah. i want to live on a farm and he wants to move to a city and be a cop. i think the only reason he wants to move to a town is because of the job opportunities in that field.

my bros and i went to the pool today. was there from like 10am until almost 4pm. i am sooo red it's not close to funny hurts like heck too. lol. i told mom i'm taking the Aloe Vera lotion with me to camp next week and she said that knowing the way i am with burning that was a good idea. lol.

awesome! (about camp not the burn lol) My mom said yes for me but no for my sister since she's not 18 yet and my mom doesn't support youth camps, she thinks nothing good comes from them and that they're just an opportunity for people to mess around and get into trouble. so yeah and i don't really want to go by myself. but i might. :/

maybe if you go and prove that it's not all bad and good does come from them then she'll let your sister go next year? our church camp is generally for 13 up to idk what lol. until they let you be a chaperon i guess...i should have been one this year but for some reason they didn't let me....maybe next year. i went a year before i was old enough (i was 12) because they had someone drop out so instead of the church paying for an empty bed (since they'd already registered) they let me go. my bff then was old enough to go the same year and she got mad that i got to go when i wasn't old enough or something like that i think (she stopped talking to me about that time so i'm assuming that's why).
my bf and i meet at church camp about 4 years ago. i was 15 and he was 14. my youth group freaked out. lol. to give you an idea why i'll quote what one of them said to Jeff.... "what did you do to her!!! she doesn't talk to guys!!!!! like....ever! never!!" that year i had like three guy friends. and the guy from our church that is usually the chick magnet couldn't get a single girl the whole week! he was a little mad. i never talk to guys and i had more friends then the chick magnet. roflol. but Jeff is the next best thing to happen to me (being saved would be first). we always tell each other "i love you second best" or something along that line with the same meaning. kinda to remind ourselves and each other that God will always be first in our relationship.

that's awesome :D and funny lol. yeah that's what my sister said she wants me to prove my mom wrong but the thing is she'll be 18 next year anyway and can go so it wouldn't really matter. but i might go just to go. idk. i'm a little scared that it'll somehow prove my mom right even though i don't think it will. i mean i know some of it is probably mostly hype but i think overall it's good...

it kinda depends on the kid i guess...our camp is a really good camp, i'm friends with the owner of it actually. but sometimes you have kids go through there that are nothing but bad news. i've never gotten into trouble there though. and no one from our church has gotten in trouble there as long as i've been in the group. Jeffs youth group hasn't gotten into any trouble either to my knowledge. one incident that was an accident and a misunderstanding but other than that nothing.

well, he works at the local YMCA and works on the side doing yard work and stuff like that. he graduated high school (home schooled) this year and also completed his third year in college at the same time. he's majoring in law enforcement. i plan to move an hour south to my grandparents and go to college down there for early childhood education. he's planning on, after his fourth year up here, going to a college south of here too.....my college would be about half way between his college and my grandparents actually. i still have to check with my grandparents and make sure i can move in with them but i'm pretty sure it'll be ok.

i'm leaving tomorrow for camp and won't be back until friday so if i don't get on for a while that's why...i'll try to check it before i leave tomorrow but idk.

after i graduate with a degree in early childhood education i hope to do stuff like day care maybe....not exactly sure at this point where God wants me to go with it...just kinda taking it one step at a time. it also kinda depends on where Jeff's career takes him.

i had a blast at camp.

i need to decide tonight whether or not i'm going to camp, none of my friends are going so i'm afraid i'll have no one to hang out with... :/ i think i'm gonna fill out an application and bring it to church tonight, ask about a few more details and then if i like the answers i'll hand in the application. but i don't want to go by myself gahhhh. lol.

lol. i love little kids!

that sounds like a good idea. i know the week we went to camp this year there was 460 kids and none of them knew a stranger so friends weren't hard to find at our camp. not sure what it'd be like at your camp though. lemme know what you decide/when it is.

awesome our camp is a lot smaller, last year there were only about 100 ppl, but that was smaller than usual. this year they're doing it with another church (i think they'll have less than a hundred ppl coming, so there will probably be like 200 total, idk). anyway, i decided to take the risk and go, i have no idea what i'm getting into lol but hopefully it'll be good. turned in the application but haven't paid yet, need to do that next sunday. but i haven't even told my mom that i'm going, she knew that i filled out the application but she's avoiding asking whether i turned it in or not and it's really awkward to tell her. :/

anyway, what are you up to lately?

i understand. our camp is alot bigger than yours then actually. we have so many kids from all over the state come that they have to split it up into three differant weeks. i think there was 180ish the first week 460ish he second and 430ish the third.

went out with Honey yesterday to see Despicable Me in theater. worked all weekend when i got back from camp. doing nothing today sides puppet team practice tonight. on call tomorrow and work sat/sun. there's a festival going on in the area this weekend i'm hoping dad will take me too but havn't asked him yet. he got in so late last night that they had to give him so many hours off before his shift this morning which means he left "late" for work today.....like 3 hours late.
not really a busy week this week which is fine for me because i've been so busy running around that my room's become a disaster area. lol.

i should prolly get off now though, i've been on the puter most of the morning and i have stuff that needs done.

that's a lot of kids. so there are kids from a lot of different churches at each camp? ours is a little different, in the past it was just our church running it and most of the youth were from our church (i think a few friends from other churches came along too). i think this year is the first year we're doing it with another church.

what is puppet team?

yeah the past couple of weeks haven't been all that busy for me either, but it is nice to get things done at home. but since it's been this way for a little while i wouldn't mind being a little busier lol.

yeah, kids/churches come from all over the state. some drive up to 3 1/2 - 4 hours to get there....then they are jealous when we tell them we only drove about 20 mins. lol. it's the Seneca Lake Baptist Assembly. it's funny because i know half the staff...my bf is related to a couple of them and goes to church with the rest. lol.

our church has a team of people who put on puppet shows. we're the "Hands For The Master Puppet Team" we've gone to backyard bible clubs, heath care centers, kids after school events, and other churches to put on shows. half our team retired and we had to replace them so we're still training the new people. it's alot of fun. my mom's in charge of it.

our typical week (not including my work schedule and any extra events or visiting moms parents) includes: two services on sunday morning (mom does power point and i'm in the praise band so we have to go to both...or at least the first half of the second) and one on sunday night plus youth group sunday night. tuesday is puppet practice. wednesday is kids choir (during school months) church prayer meeting and adult choir. thursday is praise team practice. boys scouts is every 1st and 3rd tuesday night.

i think our camp is almost 3 hours away, it's basically halfway in between our church and the other church.

that's cool about the puppet team. my church usually has puppet shows for the kids on the holidays, the moms put it on.

sounds pretty busy, that's cool that you're really involved in your church. how long have you been going there?

that cool that the churches are getting together like that. bet it'll be fun.

we've been going to this church for about 14 or 15 years. we moved to town in '05 and started going there shortly after.
a couple months after we started dating my boyfriend said he didn't realize how many adoptive "parents" and "grandparents" i had until he started dating me. lol. everyone at church told him that he better not do anything to hurt me because i was there grandchild or that they'd watched me grow up. it was funny. and my parents freak out and accuse me of doing less than honorable things with him. even if we were going to (which we'd never dream of!) we couldn't. i'm friends with a large number of law enforcement around my county and if i don't know them dad does (he works at the prison). and Jeff is from the area dad grew up in so dad knows anyone he doesn't, and he knows a large number of law enforcement in his area. plus dad's friends from work live in that area. even IF we wanted to do something there's no way we'd get away with it! lol.

oh yeah? our pastor doesn't want a youth service separate from the adults service. i'm ok with that. lol.

the boys left for scout camp yesterday so it's just my mom and i until Saturday. we're going to her friend's house tonight for supper. found out about 20 mins ago. lol. not sure what we're doing about lunch. i think i'm going to get on the treadmill for a little, then get a bath, and then i may start on cleaning. either down stairs or in my room, not sure which yet. i may do down here today and my room later this week. lol.

i have my iTunes on random and the song that just started is a really good one that i needed to hear: I Am Waiting by John Waller, it's off of the Fireproof sound track that i have.

well they aren't really separate at my church, there's the main service with everyone in the morning (actually there are more youth at that than at youth service), and then a youth service in the evening. I definitely agree with not having them separate, that doesn't seem like the best idea. i've gone to the main service a few times but i don't really have anyone to go with, it's in Russian which I'm not fluent in, and my sister doesn't know very much Russian at all so she doesn't really like to come. it's a little more awkward, lol. so i just go to youth, i think it's enough for now. i mean i know it's good to build relationships with adults in the church, but the ones at my church barely speak English, and my Russian is a lot worse than their English, lol.
but anyway, you have a youth group at your church, right?

haha i should be doing some cleaning too... *looks around at table covered in random junk*

i looked the song up, it is a good song. :] I've probably asked you this before but i can't remember, what are some of your favorite bands/singers?

yeah we have a youth group that meets on sunday nights. i understand the language barrier, i know sign language and we have one or two deaf people in our church family but they usually go to a diff church that has an interpreter. i want to learn sign language better so i can interpret at our church.

i don't really have a favorite band...it kinda changes depending on what mood i'm in. lol. but usually it's stuff like Pillar, Skillet, Newsboys, Superchic[k], Barlow Girl, Switchfoot, Stellar Kart, and several others.

that's cool that you know sign language! I have a friend who's really into it. i've always thought it'd be fun to know some sign language, but i'm focusing my efforts on russian right now. how did you learn sign language?

cool, i've listened to all those... I really like skillet's album collide, their newer stuff is okay but collide is my favorite. otherwise I like evanescence, paramore, flyleaf, and this Finnish band called HB (they do Christian rock/symphonic metal type stuff). and others, but those are probably my favorites.

the other one we're going to sign and it's going to be one of the songs the band at camp did, not sure which song yet though.

the high here was supposed to be like 84. but i don't really think it got that high, not sure. there's a nice breeze and it's cooler than it has been for a few days. do you usually get really hot/humid summers where you live?

yeah, it's usually hot and very humid. every summer we want winter and every winter we want summer. it's crazy. my favorite season is fall though. it doesn't hurt that that's when my birthday is either. lol. mom said that fall is her favorite season too, that's why they had me in fall. lol.
got up at 7am today and made chocolate muffins for breakfast. it's only 8:20am now and i'm ready to go back to bed already. lol. i don't usually get up until 8 since i'm usually up late when i go to work....which i did last night. lol.

i've been trying to get up at 8 in the morning but so far i keep sleeping in until 9. probably because my siblings don't get up until 9 or 10. bleh.

so are you doing anything fun this weekend?

not really...yesterday was about the only fun day of the weekend. got up and made muffins for breakfast for mom and i. then cleaned and did not much of anything until i started on lunch (spaghetti) then Jeff came and watched an episode of "Who's The Boss" (and old sitcom show) with mom and i. then he and i went to a local "beach" (one of those ones by a lake or something) and sat and watched the kids play and talked, was very relaxing. then we went to his house and hung out with his family and a friend-of-the-family. then went to his church, his youth group was having a surprise going-away party for there youth leader (he's going to law school soon). then we went to a festival at a local town. then came home and hung out at the house for a little bit (like a half-an-hour). then he went home and mom and i sat in the living room each on our own puters playing on facebook. lol.

today i'm helping my "grandma" (we adopted her) set up a display at the library. then i think mom and i are going shopping. then i have to work the closing shift tonight. tomorrow i'll be up at 7-7:30 so i can be at church at 8 so we can set up stuff then i'll be there for first service, sunday school, and first part of second service.....about 11:30ish. then lunch then idk what until i work manager closing shift sunday night.

you? :D

that's cool... well assuming you like working extra. i'm sure you at least like the extra money lol. This week... my sister and i are getting a drum lesson from a friend thursday, tonight i have this web design users group thing to go to... i'm helping make the website for it, and i wish i hadn't committed to doing this much, because it feels like school and it's really hard to motivate myself in the summer lol. it's giving me a headache right now so i'm taking a break. i really hate it when i want it to look a certain way, but i don't have good software to actually make it halfway easy. anyway, i'm about to go practice music with my sister (i hope it won't be as frustrating as the website but sometimes it is lol)... tomorrow i want to go to the mall and buy some clothes and a pair of good flip flops for camp, and hopefully some new heels for church. other than that... planning to go jogging and stuff, work out a little.

yeah i'm in college (well not at the moment since it's summer but yeah), going to be a sophomore this year. ehh getting old lol. are you starting in the fall?

i've been asking her for extra hours for a while....finally gave up asking a while ago.
cool with the drums....i play guitar, though about learning drums but in our praise band i do guitar and sign language....i decided i didn't need one more thing to choose from for what i'm doing for that song, i already have to choose between signing and playing on every song.
mom runs the website for our church...... www.firstbaptistbarnesville.com if you wanna check it out.....if you want i can ask her what program she uses and where she got it?

i love to run, lol. i don't do it ask much as i'd like anymore though...between our schedule and my bad knee it gets difficult.

i wanted to start college in the fall but there's been a little mix up with my parents.....they are upset that i made the decision about what college i want to go to with out consulting them. so mom has decided that if that's what i want to do, since i "obviously wants to do it on her own" then i can do it on my own....including financial, because she's not signing any kinda of financial papers or loans. so i'm back so square one. been trying to decide if i want to change my choice of college or not. or if i want to sit down with them again and discuss the subject some more and explain my decision. to say i've been praying would be an understatement. lol. i'm stressed to the gills about it. and when i get to stressed i get migraines often and get sick to the stomach for no reason. i havn't made my self sick this time yet but the migraines are worse than i remember.

oh well, enough about me. what are you majoring in at college?

well, i've gotta go, i have a list of stuff i wanna get done before i start fixing lunch....then honey's coming over and i think we're watching movies with the boys. can't wait!

that's awesome that you play guitar! and that you're in the praise band, sounds like fun.

sure if it's no trouble it would be great to know what program your mom uses.

i'm sorry about what's going on with your parents about college... that stinks. was there a certain college they wanted you to go to or something?

i'm majoring in web design and development. not sure if i'll stick with it. nothing really appeals to me... :/ but i gotta do something lol

man, my room is such a mess it's scary. and that's just because i'm lazy....most days it's run, get home, drop off one thing, pick up something else, then leave again all in the same motion. so most stuff just gets thrown in the room in a hurry then by the time i get home for a while i'm to lazy to clean. lol.

well, we're leaving for church soon so i'll talk to ya laters.

haha yeah... sometimes you're lucky if you can get through my room without tripping over a bunch of cords or something, now we have a keyboard, a drum set, a bass guitar and amp (not a small one either), and a guitar in there, and we're planning to bring in a desk and this computer. so yeah... but we brought our old bunk back in, so now we have more space. i'm sure the clutter will settle in quickly though, it's already starting to lol

mine stays in my room. she was to small to put outside when we got her. then it was to cold when she was big enough. so she ended up staying inside.

Saturday Jeff and i went to an arts and craft fest then to his house to watch a movie with his family. then i had to get home then go to work.
and yesterday i went to church with mom, the boys were camping. then she and i ate lunch then hung out at the house until i left for work.
friday night i had a girlfriend over and we worked on a scrapbook then watched a movie.

my cat is a dilute calico, basically semi-stripey grayish brown with some orange patches and white paws and chest. so not any certain breed or anything. she's cute though lol. what about your cat?

didn't do a lot this weekend, but sunday my mom took me and my sister to starbucks where we ran into some friends, and our friend ended up coming with us to church which was fun. wednesday i leave for camp. really nervous lol, and kinda stressed out getting ready for it for some reason. i shouldn't be. gahhh lol

anything fun going on this week?

my cat is black with white on her face and a tuxedo look (white on her chest) she also has thumbs on her front feet since they have two extra claws also.

i love starbucks. lol. mom doesn't like coffee and doesn't like us drinking coffee so she won't take me there but my friend and i go there all the time and she doesn't say anything.

i work tonight, friday, and sunday. tomorrow night the kids choir at church is having a pool party and i help them so i'll prolly be going to it. thursday the ladies at church are going to amish country (north of here) but idk if i'll go, if not i have music pract in the eve. and saturday the YMCA that Jeff works at is hosting a dance and i help out with them sometimes and i'm hoping mom and dad let me go this weekend. that's pretty much my week.

hope you have fun at camp. lemme know how it goes. when do you get back?

i ended up getting called into work wednesday because someone called off. so i didn't get to go to the party. lol.

i did get to help with the dance however. it was alot of fun. Jeff got to kick four people out and i almost kicked one out. lol. had three cops pointing guns at Jeff and i because they thought we'd broke into the YMCA. we kinda set off the alarm getting in. we turned it right off thinking we had a few mins before it notified the cops.....we didn't. lol. then, the four Jeff kicked out, kinda ran away when they found out we'd called the cops on them. they were fighting on the floor and wouldn't settle down so they called the police.

in all it was an awesome weekend. had a blast. even danced with honey at the Y saturday. that was cool.

i'm gotta go get stuff done around the house before i leave for work this afternoon.

hope camp was great, lemme know how it went.

no i don't yet, it's a really long story. thanks.

i sooo know that feeling. although at our camp we end up getting like 4 hours of sleep a night, averaged out over the whole week. so when we get home we wanna crash. they have "lights-out" at 11pm but most of us stay up much later than that. then get up early in the morning so we can shower before breakfast. this year i was usually asleep before lights out and up way before anyone else. still got about as much sleep as they did though. lol.

haha yeah we didn't get a whole lot of sleep at ours either. everyone was supposed to be quiet at 11 (although there was no actual curfew, probably since ppl slept everywhere, it could be cold in the cabins and tents so ppl were sleeping around the campfire, and random places inside the buildings), but yeah it was not quiet at 11 and some ppl stayed up all night. we had to get up at 8, but if you get up then all the girls are in the bathroom all trying to do their hair and makeup at once. i knew that would happen but i still slept in until about 10 minutes til 8 the first day, and regretted it lol. at least i had taken a shower the night before though. breakfast was around 9 so there was plenty of time to get ready just not plenty of room in the bathroom. second night the pastor of the other church preached and he had a really good message but he rambled on for 2 1/2 hours. it was crazy. our leaders were not happy. so basically he preached until 1:30 am (which means he started at like 11, idk why service was that late but basically the whole camp was running behind schedule right from the start, russians are really bad at being on time lol). and then there was this Bible smuggling game, i'd never played it before and it was awesome. but it had to be played when it was really dark outside so we played from like 2:30 am until 3:30, and then went to bed around 4. it was freezing cold and i ended up getting up early and going to the dining room and getting hot chocolate lol. so yeah that night i got like 3 hours of sleep or so. got a headache the next day and took a nap. and the last night there was a talent show that went on until like 1:30 i think but they let us sleep in until 9, i got up a little early though to get ready before it was too crowded. anyway yeah... ppl were ready to go home and sleep in their own beds lol.

lol, thanks. it wasn't really that weird.....except for the fact that i was driving an F-350 one ton diesel crew cab with an 8 foot bed. lol. it was only the second time driving it. and i've only had it in reverse once. lol. thankfully i didn't have to back it into the driveway, dad said i could just pull it in. lol

me backing it up into the driveway? that would have been hilarious. except i wouldn't have thought so at the time and i didn't get home until after 10pm....after dark. lol. i was a little nervous. one of our drivers saw me pull in though and had his mouth hangin open lookin at the truck. lol. my co-workers laughed. lol. i still find it amusing my first time driving alone and they stick me in that thing.

what are your plans for this weekend?

it kinda depends on how things pan out. lol. i start a new job monday so it'd have to depend on that. depends on what college we agree on and when i start/finish paperwork. i wanna start in the fall so i'm not starting in the middle of classes.

what's your new job?
do you know if the colleges do quarters or semesters? because you could probably just start winter term. or even if it's on a semester schedule you could just start second semester, i mean you'd have to wait half the school year, but that's not too bad. although, i'm not sure how it'd work if you're going to a university, sometimes they have application deadlines and stuff. i just go to a community college so i doesn't really matter what term you start.
