We have about 6 weeks till the town craft fair, and we are looking for ideas of things that we could make to sell. What have you had success with? We have some materials on hand such as fabric, yarn, and various recycled items, and we'd rather use what we have as much as possible. Any ideas would be appreciated!!

Maybe some dolls, (decorative type's, not dolls for small dc) but depending on materials you have available you could also make stuffed dolls or toys for dc as well)

Checkbook cover's from fabric, depending on what kind of yarn you have maybe make some potholder's or dishrags, (you need cotton yarn not acrylic, acrylic potholder's can not be used for more than playtime play with only pretend cooking, because acrylic yarn will cause serious burns if used for pot-holder's so make sure you use cotton for real pot-holders)

You could use plastic lids to make magnets, if you've got hotglue and a magnet available, just decorate the lid with small items, maybe even write out a quote or favorite verse and glue that onto lid then decorate around the edge all around with shell's or beads or something that looks cute. (this sounds messier than I am meaning, lol sometimes I can't describe stuff to well)

something else you can make is little aprons or doll dresses for dishsoap bottle's or for hand soaps bottle's.

Small purse's, billfold's, slipper's, Christmas ornaments. hairbows.

A good place to get ideas is to look online at various crafts that include the materials you have available to use. also look for patterns or ideas based on skills you already have, if you do that it will be easier than trying to come up with an idea and also learning how to do it all at once.

Hope this helps some and starts you on some ideas.

These are very popular up here, and really, all over the US.   I've seen these sold, brand new for $15 to $20.  These prices beat out the internet competitors.   If you have a certain combination of colors and/or athletic events that is popular by you, I would target in that area.  I don't know what the sports' teams are there by you, but if you anything popular like that, that would be your focus. With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon, those would be perfect, too.

I bought one locally at a craft shop and always have people ask me where I got it. It holds one of those small purse sized tissue packs. Mine is fabric with rick-rack and has decorative buttons at either end of the opening. But I found a pattern for a different cloth one and a crocheted one

I do these a lot for my house.  I don't know how much you could sell them for, but I would guess $2 or $3 each.
