In The Money Mystery Richard Maybury, also known as "Uncle Eric," continues his economics and government study with the advanced topics of inflation and velocity, the speed at which money changes hands. Using historical examples from the French Revolution and the 1970's through the 1990's, he discusses how government intervention in the money supply can destroy investments and businesses. The author expounds on the relationship between velocity and confidence in paper currency.
In the second edition, Mr. Maybury successfully predicted economic events. The third edition has even more ominous predictions regarding the National Debt and our government's ability to repay the multi-trillions that it owes.
Solving the Money Mystery, A Bluestocking Guide
The guide includes true/false, short answer, and essay questions. This guide is not as robust as some of the others in the series, but will assist the student in retaining the information and will also serve as documentation of course completion. The guide is available only through the publisher, Bluestocking Press.
Recommendation: While this volume of the "Uncle Eric" series is a bit shorter and more specialized, it is an important component to the economic success model that Mr. Maybury is teaching. Mr. Maybury's historically-supported predictions are bound to shake business owners and anyone with investments.
