'Twas the Month Before Christmas provides activities that support many aspects of a typical American Christmas celebration. Families may copy the more than one hundred coloring pages, word loops, crossword puzzles, and mazes for "worship, church school or other nonprofit use." Also included are detailed instructions for ten crafts including an Advent calendar, Advent wreath, tree skirt, and Jesse tree.
The book concludes with a coloring page with that hopeful note that spring is not far away and an answer key for the puzzles.
Recommendation: 'Twas the Month Before Christmas has many fun activities that will keep children busy and engaged during the waiting time before Christmas. Because the pages are reproducible, it could be very valuable to homeschooling families and Sunday school teachers. Any pages that might be considered "politically correct" or not supportive of the family's traditions may simply be skipped. All in all, 'Twas the Month Before Christmas is a good resource for activities for elementary-aged children.
