Is It Christmas Yet, God? offers fourteen readings for the Advent season in a picture book format. Simple poems about the Christmas story, giving, preparing for Christmas, and things to see at Christmas time are illustrated by full page color drawings of smiling, ethnically-diverse people. The poems are written for the pre-school aged children, but with each reading, a Bible verse is shown to stimulate thought and build faith in the parent.
Is It Christmas Yet, God? is a small hardback (about 7"x7") with heavy paper pages to make it more durable for little fingers.
This book will open the door for discussion about the true meaning of Christmas among some parents, while for others, it will simply be a nice contrast with the usual secular Christmas books on the market today. Either way, Is It Christmas Yet, God? would be a pleasant addition to one's book shelf.
