In A Hat for Ivan, Max Lucado weaves another charming story to help little ones understand that each person is unique and special. Ivan is almost ten, and that's the age that everyone in Hatville gets a hat to let everyone know what you like to do or what you do well. Everyone is excited, and each of the grown-ups around town makes a hat like his for Ivan, but none of them work. Ivan's dad, the town hat maker, ends the story with a fatherly conversation that is sure to comfort parents and children.
