Waldo McBurney was 102 when he wrote My First 100 Years!. This amazing man is still running in track and field competitions and working as a beekeeper. In this audio CD, Mr. McBurney reads his life story beginning at his birth in 1902, continuing through his growing up and working years, and marking when he started running in his 60's. He shares his philosophy of life and some of the things that he feels have contributed to his longevity: faith, good food, exercise, and work.
Recommendation: My First 100 Years! is very interesting from a historical perspective. Mr. McBurney tells many of his experiences from days that are unfamiliar to us. However, the real value of his story is through the incredible inspiration it provides. Mr. McBurney's faith is deep, and his positive attitude are sure to encourage all who are exposed to it. I offer a high recommendation for this book/CD for yourself and for a gift.
