Change Your Habits, Change Your Life is a positive, Biblically-based book that provides a plan for healthy living. Danna Demetre shares how she was inspired by the Lord to work though a serious eating disorder. Her suggestions are based upon taking small steps to be the person you can be - faith-filled, healthy, and happy with yourself.
The majority of the book is Mrs. Demetre's forty day plan. For each day, the author includes a Bible verse, devotional, and prayer, and then she asks the reader to write down the lie and the truth uncovered as a result of the devotional. The reader should repeat the positive truth at least three times during the day. The next part of the daily plan is a lesson in some health topic followed by journalling activities.
Recommendation: The positive, "can do" attitude of Mrs. Demetre is bound to lift your spirits and get you started on the road to a more healthful life. Change Your Habits, Change Your Life has tips you may have heard before, but the daily doses of inspiration and encouragement will help you put what you learn into practice and will bring you closer to the Lord as you improve your health.
