Celebrate Jesus! at Easter includes daily family devotions for Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday, the season of Lent. Each week is over viewed with a Scripture reading, some brief information, a materials list for the week, and "Let's Live It," a list of general suggestions for planning and to make the week more meaningful. Several recipes are offered for food to share with others. The daily program begins with a prayer and suggested reading from the Bible. Then the "Think About It" section has a devotion that offers Christian truths and hope. A song, including sheet music, and another prayer follow. Last, there is "Activity Time," in which a simple game like hide and seek, hot potato, or charades is related to the devotional. The time for each day could range from twenty minutes to forty-five minutes depending on the time spent on the activity.

Recommendation: Celebrate Jesus! at Easter is an easy-to-follow devotional for a meaningful Easter season. Aimed at families with children aged six to ten, this book offers fun activities and thought provoking narratives to help a family feel closer to Jesus and understand his sacrifice for us. This book will most certainly deepen your young family's relationship with Christ.
