Questions to Ask Christian Parents of Government-Schooled Children

These parents might be YOU, or they might be someone you know. We sincerely hope that this list will help rescue more Christian children out of Caesar's schools.
Education
Aren't you concerned about the educational incompetence and educational malpractice of the government schools? After all, the USA's government schools consistently rank behind 3rd world countries academically.
Does your child(ren) see the relationship between God, their Christian duty and math, science, history, geography, grammar, literature, composition, civics, etc? If not, why not?
What is the primary goal of the school? Academic achievement or Christlike behavior?
Do you agree with everything that your child(ren) is being taught?
Is your child(ren)'s education glorifying God?
Do they teach creation or evolution in the same manner you would at home?
How much time do you have to spend helping your child(ren) unlearn what they have learned during the day away from you and your influence?
Do you ever have to explain that some people believe differently than you do, but to get the "right" answer they must answer "wrong" according to your teachings, and possibly against God?
Doesn't this reinforce to your child(ren) that the teacher's answers are more important than yours and God's Law-Word?
Could this scenario undermine your own teachings and your own authority, as well as God's?
Who in your child's life is responsible for their spiritual training? How much time is directed toward that during their school day?
What do you know about the s*x education programs in the school? Do they send them on field trips outside the school to teach them things other than abstinence?
Is your child(ren)'s education preparing them to be independent thinkers?
How are they being taught to be self-motivated?
Has the school failed to live up to your expectations in any way? Has it failed your child(ren) in any way?
How much time is spent preparing for standardized testing? Do you think this is productive learning time?
Socialization
Aren't you concerned about the dysfunctional socialization in the government schools?
Aren't you concerned about having your child(ren) relate to the "real world" versus the artificial environment of the government school?
What do you do to socialize your child(ren) with others not in their specific peer groups?
Children
How much individual attention does your child(ren) receive? Is it Godly?
Does your child ever get bored in school?
Do you ever find the class moving too fast/slow for your child? What do you do about it?
How is your child's academics individualized?
Are there any activities you do not allow your child to participate in? Why?
How do you prepare your kids for the negative behaviors, attitudes and beliefs they will encounter in government school?
How much time do you spend at night doing homework?
How much time do you actually get to spend with your child(ren) each day?
What makes you think you CAN'T come home and care for your family? Who told you that you couldn't? Is their opinion above God's Word?
If you think you can't stand to be with your kids 24/7, why do you think this has occurred and what can you do to change it? What would God have to say about that?
How well do you know your child(ren)? Do you know their character?
Who has greater influence on their thoughts and beliefs - you, their teacher, their friends? Do you think that their teacher or their friends make better parents for them than you? Did God give that child to you?
If you charted the number of hours per day people spend in direct conversation with your child(ren), including you and your husband, where do you rank in time?
What are your priorities?
God's Word
If, according to the Bible our primary objective in raising our children is to bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and train them to serve Him, how then is the government school training your child(ren) to serve Him?
Which of the 10 Commandments apply to me and which of the 10 Commandments apply to you? What part of God's Law-Word applies to me and what part to you? What am I not obeying that you are?
If Jesus would not send his trained, grown, male, disciples into the world alone (but always at least in pairs), then why do you send your untrained child(ren) into a hostile world all by themselves, each and every day?
